In 2010, before the iPad was made available for purchase, I predicted that it would be Steve Jobs’ Waterloo. Not only did I prove to be wrong, but I proved wrong grandly.

But why?

I had taken for granted the impact this one man has had on my ability to communicate, to express, to create, and to live.

Steve Jobs.

You touched my life profoundly.

You infiltrated my DNA.

One of your devices creates and disseminates every word and image that departs my body under the brand name Cory O’Connor.

That makes us partners.

There’s you.

There’s me.

Together we can make the world just a little bit…if not a whole lot more…

Better.

One way is through the expression of art, and your iPad and stylus have allowed my inner artist to thrive. Thus, the illustrations and photos in this blog are created using an iPad, an iPhone, and a stylus.

Steve Jobs, what would I have done without you?
